Apple Crumble

Want to have something different for your iftar?.Try this out! Easy, yummy and healthy!

Apple Crumble

Fresh from the oven

Recipe

3 apples (diced into cubes)
Brown sugar (3 tbsp to add into the diced apples & 3 tbsp to add with the flour)
Lemon juice (from 1/2 lemon)
1/4 block of butter (from 250g butter block)
2 1/2 cups of flour
cinnamon powder

Mix the diced apples with lemon juice , brown sugar and cinnamon powder.
Mix butter, brown sugar and flour to a crumble form (butter should be in frosty form to create a good crumble texture)
Spread the apple mix into a baking pan (souffle cup can also be used), make sure to grease the baking pan with a thin layer of butter.
Spread the crumble mix on top of the apple mix.

Bake at 180C for 20 - 30 minutes (depends on the size and thickness of your baking pan)
